ESIC Recruitment 2019: ESIC Recruitment board has recently released the job notification for the enrollment of Specialist Grade - II (Senior Scale) and Specialist Grade– II (Junior Scale) on direct recruitment basis, in the employment newspaper dated 12 to 18 January 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed format on or before 24 January 2019.
ESIC has notified a total of 329 posts of Specialists for Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal locations. Before submitting the applications, candidates should read the official notification to know about the recruitment process and eligibility criteria.
Candidate should submit only one application for one State. If a candidate wants to apply for more than one State for 329 Specialists Posts, he/she should submit separate Application Forms for different States. Candidates will be required to a pay an amount of Rs. 500 through Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque.
Selection for ESIC Specialists Posts will be made on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the ESIC Selection Board.

Eligibility Criteria for ESIC Specialist
Educational Qualification and Experience:
SPECIALISTS GRADE-II (SENIOR SCALE)
- A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule of Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Degree in the concerned speciality as mentioned in Table A or equivalent.
- Five years’ experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree.
SPECIALIST GR. II (JUNIOR SCALE)
- A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule of Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-Section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Post Graduate Qualification in the requisite speciality
- Work experience in a responsible position connected with the speciality for a period of: 3 years in case of Post Graduate Degree Holder OR 5 years in case of Post Graduate Diploma Holder
